  1. Can I change the way Firmwater LMS looks?

  1. Can I change the way Firmwater LMS looks?

    Yes, the look of the application is flexible. As well as being able to upload and display your organization's logo, the look (layout, colours, branding) of the interface can be customized. Any terminology or text can be customized to suit your needs.

  2. Can I setup my organizational structure in the system?

    Yes. Firmwater LMS allows you to define locations and location levels, departments, job titles or nothing at all. The application works equally well for organizations with just a few people and for companies with thousands.

    Administrative functionality is governed by privileges assigned and by place in the organizational structure. Administrators can only view and edit data that is in scope. For example, location administrators can only data for their own location.

  3. Does Firmwater LMS support other languages than English?

    Yes. Firmwater LMS was designed to support multiple languages, including Asian character sets. So far, we have deployed the application in English and French. If you are interested in adding support for another language, please contact us.

  4. Do administrators have the ability to upload content by themselves?

    Yes, administrators with appropriate privileges can upload content. The system automatically detects what kind of content is uploaded. Once uploaded, the content is immediately available for assignment to learners.

  5. Can I import my list of users? Can I import historical learning data?

    Yes and yes. You can import a file which contains all your user information and/or historical learning data. The file can be either in CSV (comma separated values) or XML (extensible markup language) formats.

  6. I'm a training provider. Can I setup my own clients in the LMS? Will I have to reload all my content for each?

    Firmwater LMS has special features for training providers. You can create and manage all your clients and distributors from a single interface. Your clients only see data for their own organization.

    You can load your content once and then grant it to your clients, specifying the permissions of its use. Customize your content's behaviour to suit each of your clients' training needs, if desired.

  7. I have unique reporting requirements. Can custom reports be added to the system?

    Firmwater LMS includes a number of standard reports. All reports can be exported to a number of different formats, giving you the option of slicing and dicing the underlying raw data. If you have unique needs, we can provide you with a quote for the cost or creating one or more custom reports to meet your needs.
